The Mad Maggies

Eight crazy musicians from the S.F. Bay Area happily careen across the musical map whipping up pleasingly-unusual dance-inducing tunes in a startling array of styles. It’s fast and it’s furious, get down and get sweaty, let the good times roll, accordion-laced, horn-rich, guitar-driving music touching on Ska, Polka, Klezmer, Celtic, Eastern European Gypsy, Zydeco, Surf, and even a little swinging Blues and Rock. Whatever and no matter — it’s a pleasant frenzy.

Each of the Mad Maggies has been playing music for a lifetime, racking up long lists of performance experiences, show savvy and brushes with fame.
